Sanctus ascribed to Ghiselin in VeronaBC756 but attribution to Agricola supported in [Lerner 1961-70]
Unlike his cyclic works on a secular cantus firmus, Agricola's Missa pascalis is based on a succession of Gregorian melodies which were sung as an Easter Mass during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
