[US-U, Renaissance Archives]: Composer not yet identified. Based on dating of this source [VatP1982] ca. 1513-21?, he is clearly too early to be identified with Jehan de Lattre or Claude Petit Jean, and probably too late to be identified with Jehan Charvet (called "Petit Jan" in NHavY 91). An identification with Ninot le Petit is rejected by Barton Hudson, editor of NinotW. Jhan of Ferrara [= Maistre Jhan] is not referred to as "Petit" and most of his works postdate repertory of VatP 1982
